



The Smith Family Foundation of New Jersey & #IAMTHECHANGE will be hosting our 2nd Annual Inaugural community Kwanzaa Celebration on December 29, 2018. Kwanzaa is observed from December 26th through January 1st, with each day dedicated to one of the 7 principles of the Nguzo Saba. This years Kwanzaa will be celebrated on the 4th day of the celebration, which is UJAMAA (oo-jah-mah) signfiying the importance of Cooperative Economics. Highlighting the need for our communities to build and maintain our own shops, stores, and other businesses and profit from them together.

Girls Out Loud! hosted our 2nd Annual Day of Adornment on September 5, 2018. Day of Adornment celebrates the sisterhood of women who donate and dedicate their time and talent with school age girls. Girls Out Loud and its partners, provided school supplies, free nail care services, free hair styles and hair care services, and information that helped 50 young girls explore the careers of entrepreneurs and Cosmetologist.
